Spread your tiny wings and fly away -
and Godspeed you, little one.

Watching birds nest, hatch, and then fly away is so much fun and sad at the same time. We always seem to get attached to these tiny creatures! But such is the mystery of life! Great bluebird series in natural habitat, Jan.

Fantastic video. I get teary-eyed when they leave, but it's exciting when they come back and visit, too.

What wonderful videos!! It's such a rare thing to see a bird in a natural cavity that way anymore--makes it so much more special. I guess they will come out today or tomorrow, but they will hang around as their parents teach them about the good stuff available in your yard!

So wonderful. I just loved it. I have a wider focus but love birder sites. Here by way of the birdlady!

Fun videos! I've missed the actual fledging of our two bluebird broods this year, so it was neat to watch yours. Love your Scripture references!
