Autumn Images by James

This is James...my son...and these are his Autumn images.

This was a picturesque farm scene on our way into town.

What a gorgeous tree that caught his eye!

Now who would expect to find beauty on a hog farm!!!

What a nice combination of Falling for Christmas. haha

We diligently searched for deer all over the countryside and all we could come up with was a jackass!!! Well...you can't win them all. hee-hee

We had quite a spectacular Fall this year...for North Carolina!

Just an example of our Autumn country roads...complete with a Heron flying by.

The sad news is the last photo was taken right after he missed a great shot of a hawk on the ground!!! That will teach us to keep our camera's powered up at all times! haha

Fall for Gallberry Stables

This is Gallberry Stables...the reason I first moved to North Carolina...so saddle up and get ready for the tour.

As you can see it was a gorgeous place to have a boarding stable!

I really enjoyed it while I was there and so did my customers...both horses and humans.

The property was lined with Flowering Pear trees...which as you can see are gorgeous!

Not only are they radiant red in the Fall...but have beautiful white blossoms in the Spring!

Of course no stable is complete without our four legged boarders.

Now who wouldn't fall for these handsome boarders!!!

Hope you enjoyed the tour through my old boarding stable...now unsaddle your horse and put it back in the stall!!!

Autumn Splendor in the Carolina's

This was taken in the early morning hours on my commute home from work.

I just can't seem to find the time to enjoy my photography hobby lately.

Now don't laugh...but most of these were taken on my way to the dump with my garbage. haha

Fortunately we have some pretty scenery on the way there!

You're in luck...I spared you pictures of the actual dump! hee-hee

Notice the bird landing at the top of this tree...didn't notice it when I took the photo.

I thought these horses looked good against the Autumn scenery.

We don't have the gorgeous array of colors that you have up North...but...

Hope you enjoyed the Autumn excursion through the Carolina countryside!
