Although not popular with birders and bird photographers...

Hi, Jan nice to meet you. Thank you for the nice comment. I love your verses! Always nice to meet a fellow believer who loves God's Creation! North Carolina looks so gorgeous my husband and I wish we were there right now.
I'll tell you Jan, you made the bird into such a beauty that it could win the contest hands or wings down!!! Great shots. The background is so pretty too.. Great shots.

Yes...it is nice to meet a fellow believer! Glad you like North Carolina...although I'm not a native...I've grown to love it too.
..and that was the right setting! Beautiful. (Not so beautiful on my feeders!)
You're right Bird Girl and Birdlady...I would find no beauty in a different setting...say my backyard or my feeders! haha
Beautiful bird, even if it isn't well liked.. thanks for sharing
Thanks Stacey...just not welcome in most backyards.haha
Beautiful picture, Jan!! They really are handsome birds. I love their beautiful feathers and pretty golden eyes.
Thanks Lin...I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
