We get the robins but not the waxwings. I wish. I also wish I could get some turkeys and some Pileated Woodpeckers. All my bird photos are taken of birds that come into my tiny, backyard.
I just brought my Coopers Hawk blog back. Blogger had saved the name for me. I have hundreds of photos yet to publish. If you are interested in hawks you are welcome to have a look.
I just love love love those Waxwings. You really got them posing with the beautiful blossoms all around. I also love the Robin it is such a universal 'sign of Spring' everywhere and looks beautiful in the flowers too. Great job Jan!! Keep going out there and snapping pix for us!
Wow, those rock! Absolutely gorgeous and perfect for spring, Jan. The picture near the top with the waxwing in mid-gobble of a huge berry is really fun.
Not sure what it is with waxwings and robins but we've had a ton of them flocking together. Guess they're after the same food. :-)
