I thought I'd come back here to reply to our question.I also sold my heavy Canon equipment and now shoot with an OlympusOM D EM-1.This is a mirrorless camera and much lighter.I don't know all the technical details, but I know that I still have the same magnification as before and a lot less wieght,so that works for me.
