Cape Fear Valley Hawk

I was working in my office when one of the nurses out in front of the E.R. called me and said there's a hawk out here and you need to come quick with your camera. Everyone knows I always have my camera with me;-) lol It was hot out...but...definitely worth the trip! After work and visiting a friend who was in our hospital...I decided to look for the hawk again. Needless to say...I found him...chased him all around and even up a tree. Lucky for the poor hawk...it was getting too dark for this stalker to get any more photos. Also lucky for the poor thing that I didn't have my DSLR...only my point and shoot Sony.

BTW...this Hawk was really upset with me when I ruined his chance for getting the squirrel it was after in the tree. I think the squirrel was happy though;-) hee-hee

Neat, neat pictures! On that third one he looks like the king sitting on his throne.
